Default What Is The Best Video Game Adaptation Movie??

There have been alot of video game turned movies out there. I believe I got them all but it seems 1 or so always slip through the cracks! I didnt list animated movies or foreign movies! If somehow the movie u think is the best and it qualifies under my qualifications then just reply with it! Also list the worst as well and if your fav is diff then the one u voted for as the best u can list that as well. My take would be:

Best: Resident Evil: Apocalypse

Worst: Super Mario Bros.

Its a shame cause I am the biggest fan of the Super Mario Bros. series but the movie was garbalistic!! Got Em!!

Resident Evil was the best.

Mortal Kombat is a close second.

Worst: House of the dead *shoot me*

Silent Hill, which also happens to be the only good one on that list.

I'm guessing this is for the best film disregarding how close it followed the game.

The best I have seen was the first Resident Evil. Max Payne was decent too, just really slow.

The worst is the new Street Fighter.

Funny how so many of these movies are just horrible! I watched Hitman a couple weeks ago.....couldn't believe how bad it was. Since I had to make a choice, it was Resident Evil.

Natassia Malte is in both D.O.A. and BloodRayne 2. Her hair is an ugly lookin' purple in D.O.A.. I'll grab my copy of D.O.A. later and take a few snapshots on VLC and post them. Too busy right now.

When I was in league with Uwe Boll, he told me that Lokken was back as BloodRayne. The only reason why she wasn't in the second film was because she was committed to doing The "L" Word on Showtime.

EDIT:

But, honestly, I don't think he'll be doing anymore videogame adaptions anytime soon since he's broke and the German Tax Law has been closed. He has to actually convince people to give him money. He's actually producing the film himself this time since he's doing all of these smaller, low budget artsy films. What he needs to do is get Alone in the Dark 2 released here in the US so it can make it's $5 million back because neither he, nor Rick Yune (yes, he produced the film and got to be the big star of it since Slater declined it), or anyone else is going to get their money back.

SUPER MARIO BROS!

Most underrated too! How the HECK are you supposed to adopt something as trippy as the Mushroom Kingdom into a movie? Works so well, and Dennis Hopper is awesome.

So many terrible movies, it's hard to pick just one. I guess I'll go with the first Tomb Raider, it's not a good movie, but as far as video games adaptations go, it's Citizen Kane.

Had to go RE as it is not only a good adaptation of the games, it is the only ones I watch frequently, and looks good on Blu.
