Your Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 Team and why - Blu-ray Forum

Hey all,

After I got the Platinum for this game I got to thinking about the different play styles. I'd love to see how you all played. I'm not talking about just favorite characters, because my "real" team wasn't my favorites. But after playing with all the characters to get the trophies and such I found my go to team when I needed to just get things done. Even on legendary after leveling and finding this team I hardly died.

Hulk
Thor
Deadpool
Ms Marvel

Hulk - because of his ground pound which kept enemies in the air so they couldn't attack. It was great crowd control and barely touched his energy bar so I could use it for a long time. Plus I needed a targeted fusion for boss's and Hulk + Deadpool = damage

Thor - His lunge hammer attack was great for speeding around the screen hitting multiple foes at once and keeping the crowd low on health so I didn't get overwhelmed

Deadpool - the aforementioned targeted fusion, plus his regen, and his teleporting attack. ( i actually defeated a half health hercules on legendary after everyone else got killed with just DP thanks to those reasons)

Ms. Marvel - her blast did good damage and was my go to ranged move. Plus her jump/ground pound attack hit multiple foes and did great damage to get rid of crowds fast.

So who did you use and why?

Hulk: he takes the least damage, has a ton of HP and is strong as HELL

Deadpool: I use the duel guns ALLOT he to has a ton of HP( and regenerates it), and can deal allot of damage.

Gambit: in MUA2 same reason he provides good protection with his 52 card pick up + can throw cards.

Wolverine: Strong and can regenerate HP

I would have Juggernaut (got to play with him on a friends account on legendary and he just KILLED EVERYTHING) but I don't have the code for stupidBox.

My team right now is Hulk, Gambit, Deadpool and Iceman. I started out with Daredevil before I unlocked Hulk, and the and I wasn't too happy with him. I had the Thing before he became "unavailable" and had to replace him with Deadpool, who turned out to be great.

I like Gambit because he's a good ranged character as well as up close. In the first MUA I used Iron Man, but apparently he's a key player in this one and I chose the other side. Iceman is really weak as far as HP and hand-to-hand, but his ice beam is very useful.

Hulk is just the best character. I like the Thing's moves but the Hulk is massive and makes the whole "select your dialogue" sections bearable.

The downside is Iceman and Gambit's alternate outfits are really lame

Deadpool: he regenerates and has great teleporting attacks.

Wolverine: he regenerates and has great attacks.

Gambit: his projectiles

Storm or Spiderman - Projectiles.

Hulk --- very powerful
Iceman --- fusion damage power is very good
Captain America --- some strong attacks
Thor --- very strong power attacks

Bonus for having Original Avengers

The Human Torch - I never liked him, but he's the most useful character in the whole game for me. He can attack at a distance and has great fusion powers with others.

Deadpool - Having a very quick hand to hand attack with the addition of a distance attack is a plus. He's also my designated talker.

Hulk - His clap is sometimes the most effective attack early in the game.

Storm - She's more useful at the end of the game than the begining.
