Watched Waiting last night and I noticed there is some new stuff that I haven't seen on any other BD's, like stored bookmarking and controllable menu effects. Is this the first time this has been applied on BD? There was probably other stuff there too, but I didn't have time to fool around with it. When you moved the directional pad an interface pops up where you can graphically control the speeds of the FF/REW, or jump directly to any part of the movie by dragging the timeline. Also, if you push down some sort of marker appears on the timeline and pushing up makes it disappear, though I'm not sure what that does. Bookmarks also appear on the timeline and are controlled using those four colored keys.
I'm using a Panny BD10, so it works on players other than the PS3 as well. |
