Default Subwoofer cable

Hey guys

I recently purchased a new sub by I have a question:

My previous sub only had to be hooked up with a single RCA cable and worked fine..

My new sub has 2 inputs in the back and it looks like I should be using this cable instead:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOOPS-5M-1-TO-...item5630a01c74

Right now I just use a regular cable and one of the inputs are not being used..

Should I purchase a cable that matches? Am I not getting all out of my subwoofer?

One of the two inputs should be for the lfe channel. What kind of sub is it?

i looked up your sub, with this information in the manual, trust me, use the "y" adapter.

you'll be fine. this is exactly how i and many of us have our subs connected.

Cool thanks! Will there be a difference AQ wise or is it just as good with a single cable?

Do it the way solarrdadd said with A Y adapter !
Using the Y adapter this way will add A few dbs to the sub ~ Per Big Daddy !

you can use your same cable you just need a "y adapter" with 1 female x 2 male ends. the two male ends will go into your sub's two inputs (L & R) and the one female will be connected to your sub-cable. listed here:

http://bluejeanscable.com/store/subwoofer/index.htm

near the bottom, just make sure you get the right one. you may be able to find it somewhere cheaper. probably even at BB or other local audio store.

your done!

best of luck keep us posted
