i live in south florida and would like to get a portable 'digital' tv for when the power goes out during a hurricane.

as we all know when the tv broadcasts went digital, older tvs wont work.....including portable tvs.

anyone know where i can buy a 'digital' portable tv from?
any and all help would be appreciated.

The mini-TV was a great help when Ike hit us, and I have been looking for a digital one...

All the ones I have found have seemed like they would be okay except for one thing - very limited battery life. That is pretty much of a deal-breaker for hurricane work.

I got ya!

Yeah, I remember being without power for a week after the 3 that came through Orlando in 2005.

Tv would have been nice! ...AC would have been even better though!
