Default How many older PSP games are available for PSP Go

I'm looking into getting my wife a PSP Go for Christmas and I'm trying to find a list of some older games that were on UMD that can be downloaded for the GO. If anyone knows where I can find a list or something it would be greatly appreciated.

If you are on a PC you can download Media Go (http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/...?page=download) and look for yourself if you like.

There's lots, we're better off going by the ones that are not available yet:

All MGS games, FFCC, Castlevania, those are the main ones not in the store yet that I can think of.

Screw the PSP Go, I like the fact of having a physical copy (UMD) of the games myself!

I say screw UMD!!

I had two big boxes full of them and no room. With the GO, my games can be stored digitally.

I personally say the same thing. My wife is the one that wants the Go. I would much rather have the older version like I used to own.

The reason I like the physical copy is, if you mistakingly erase you data, POOF! it's gone for ever, IE your games you spent good $ on! I'm not a huge gamer myself but love my old PSP, I'll be dammed if I'll buy movies as a download, I love having the physical copy of my games, music and of course MOVIES!

I'm as pro-physical media as anyone when it comes to home devices, but lugging around a bunch of UMDs sucks. I'll take the odds of me losing the games in the time-frame in which I care over the inconvenience of a bag full of UMDs.

You can't lose your games. They are under "your downloads" in the PS store.

I'm old school when it come to the PSP! Plus the only games I really like are those compiltaions like the ones from Namco, and Capcom, Remixed is my favorite because it has Black Tiger, my favorite all time video game.

When people talk about losing digital distributions they are usually referring to the day in the future when the servers shut down and thus you can't redownload them again.

Really? I beat this game so many times, lots of quarter spent. I have it on PS2, it was the first game I played when I bought my Arcade Fighting Stick for the PS3.

Another positive for the MediaGo program is that you can also save your Saved Games onto your computer.

You can do this with a PSP Go or a normal one.

I downloaded some demos into my PSP Go that I actually can't buy even if I want too... I find that a bit ironic.

I love my PSP Go and never had any UMD's so that part is a non-issue for me but there is one thing that seems a bit tricky... If I put a PSP game on my wishlist for example at Amazon for the holidays I run the risk of someone buying the actual UMD copy of the game.... Oh well.

Edit - the big negative for me to MediaGo is it's only on Windows which I don't use. Still,... I don't think I'm missing anything because I can download PSP demos to my PS3 and stuff.

Black Tiger was and still is awesome, it would be cool if Capcom were to give it a redux, with the option of new graphics, and new levels! The original had 8 and after that the game was over after the credits! Of couse the tried and true original would have to be included as well! I was the high score champ of this game in my area. I could get well over a million points by just killing skeletons with the extra time! I would like to see what the all time high score is for Black Tiger! It was the only game i could beat with one quarter! Yep, i got for the PS2 as well! Could you imagine how good Black Tiger could look with updated graphics for the PS3!!!
