Dawn Of The Dead 2004? - Blu-ray Forum

when it said that Starz was releasing dawn of the dead i thought it was the 2004 version and then i saw in the cover for it and realized it as the original.

is this coming out anytime soon???

Dawn of the Dead ('04) is a Universal title, so, until Universal starts releasing on Blu-Ray, this will remain an HD-DVD exclusive... apparently being released sometime in Oct.

Man, I was duped into thinking it was the re-make as well. It has to be one of my favorite all time horror/zombie movies. I am sadden by Universal yet again...

It was awesome, but I'll be getting the originals too. Zombie movies rule!! Now give me Shaun of The Dead too

as is Hot Fuzz
the biggest blow to BR in my opinion (and are the only movies to tempt me in any which way with considering getting a HD drive/player of sorts)

I hated the remake of Dawn Of The Dead... and that seriously sucks about Shaun Of The Dead, I want it badly, haha

i know that makes me so mad. but as soon as the war is over and Blu wins we will have them. for now i will have to settle for the dvd versions

I'd be happy with the dvd version of Hot Fuzz if it's worth buying, but I'm considering a personal boycott against Universal until they go neutral. A test of will power for sure.
