Which Celebrity Death Has Impacted You The Most?

In light of the death of Brittany Murphy, I thought this might be an interesting topic.

Mine would be Brandon Lee. For some strange reason, his death really struck a cord with me, seeing the potential he had after watching The Crow.

i would've loved to see what he did in the years to come following The Dark Knight...what kinds of roles he would've taken.

It wasn't necessarily a shock death, but I've always loved his stand up and mostly his take on life and people since I seem to think the same way. Although I'm not funny.

Watched Siskel and Ebert religiously for as long as I can remember.
Also remember sitting in the theater and watching the credits go after The Crow and thinking to myself we lost a sensational star, so also Brandon Lee.

None! I do not know any of them personaly, they have very little bearing on my life expect provide entertainment. Yes it's sad to see them go but everyday millions of people end their time on this Earth and millions more start their journey. None of them have any impact on my life, only my love ones, family and friends make a impact on my life bytheir passing.

While it will be sad cause unlike so many others I fell no hate towards him but I understand how cool it is for so many to hate him, make's one part of the crowd it still won't change anything in my life. I do not know George Lucas personaly, he as not been a family member nor did he raise me to become the person I am to today, that was my family.

I have a very hard time understanding this collective grief that so many seem to need to have when a celebrity dies. Being sad is one thing and that is alright. But going overboard by saying their death is personaly affecting your life is just not something I understand. When my parents die (and let's hope it's years from now) that will affect my life. But the death of Michael Jackson or anyone else you would care to name will not affect my life.

Carlin would be my #1 and Ledger a very very very close 2nd, but only if he kept playing the joker in batman movies lol

Stevie Ray Vaughn. While he was alive, the rock radio stations, thankfully, had no idea who he was. Once he kicked, those same stations seemingly never miss an opportunity to poison my ears with his pinched-off voice and lukewarm, awful attempts at blues...or whatever it is he was playing.
