ONE MILLION YEARS B.C. + WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH

Double feature Blu-Ray

WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH won an oscar nomination for its fantastic visual effects. IMO its still one of the best stop motion animation Ive ever seen.
It even had motion blur FX, quite amazing for a movie from 1970.

I haven't seen WHEN DINOSAURS RULED THE EARTH yet, but I have seen ONE MILLION YEARS B.C a couple of times including just again this morning, and it has some of the best stop-motion animation I've ever seen. It's so smooth and fluent as oppose to slow and jerky. Its especially incredible because I've read ONE MILLION YEARS B.C from 1966 had a far lower budget then expected.

Of course the fantasy and action comes secondary to the hot babes in bikinis which was just a pleasure to watch!

I had seen One Million Years B.C. once in my childhood, some more than 25 years ago.
I remember it had made a huge impression in me. I hadn't seen anything like that until then, and without dialogue.
I would love a Bluray of this.
Maybe Twilight Time??

We are here! Big fan of One Million Years B.C., which will probably end up being a Twilight Time release along with Ray Harryhausen's Three Worlds of Gulliver and First Men in the Moon. Not so keen on When Dinosaurs, but any way we can get classic films on Blu-ray, I'm there!

Yes this definitely needs to happen! Hopefully it does as there have been a good number of Hammer Blu Rays in the past couple of years.
