I did a search for "Watership" and didn't find any recent posts hinting of a NA blu release, nor did I find anything reading the last few pages of the Criterion thread (I assume that's what the "C" refers to). Is there a reason you can't just link to whatever it is you're talking about?

Because I've been told it in person, and it's not something you're gonna find confirmation of anywhere else. Might convince anyone thinking of buying that UK Blu-Ray to keep waiting, though.
