Chipped cases at the top of the spine - Blu-ray Forum

Has anyone else has this happen to them. I get a blu in the mail and the top corner of the spine is missing a small triangle shaped piece creating a hole in my blu case. This has happened on 3 of my movies and its really annoying.

Yeah I've had that happen quite a few times. Even at the store it's happened, you just don't really notice because of the plastic over it. So I decided to buy a bunch of replacement cases, because of that and eco-cases.

You can try getting new ones through eBay, I got 10 2-disc cases for like $7

I never got a BD case damage as of yet, knock on wood. But it did happen to a few cases of DVD however.

I've been having the same problem with my blu-ray cases too. The employees at the stores are just too rough with these cases.

Yeah, I've had that with 2 of mine, really annoying. With one of them, I still had the chipped piece so i super glued it back on haha.

Haha yeah that's what I've done. I used Gorilla Glue to put one of little pieces back on in the center because the sleeve part of it only held on the bottom. You would never know it broke.

My chips were MIA, they were shipped already missing them. Is there any place besides ebay to buy replacement blu cases?
