Die Hard With A Vengence Uncut?

Just wondering does anyone know if this is Uncut?
I've seen a version with some violence & bad language completely butchered out -
The killings in the elevator in the bank
The swearing when MaClane takes the Merc on the bridge & some more that I cant think of off hand but Im hoping its Uncut?

Well its not available on Region B yet as far as I know, so Region A?
I have the Uncut dvd version but I want to upgrade (as much as I can) now.

Sorry maybe its available in NZ on region B but not UK

So is this version different to the previous versions like (on laserdisc) as I only have it on dts laserdisc.

Not sure JBL, I do know that TV versions of the Die Hard films are butcherd to hell.. Im pretty sure the DVD release was uncut too (aside from the chain whipping, which was shortend on every release).

Not sure but I know the only dvd vesion I could get on region B dvd when I was buying it was Cut.
So i went for the region A dvd boxset, but now I want it on Bluray

LOL that they are. All the/most of the dialogue is replaced like swearing.
I was thinking of scenes like in the elevator at Fort Knox as there is lot of splat o’ blood spraying around and the guy on the boat that gets cut in half, damn!

I just looked at the laserdisc 130 minutes so if the region B Bluray is anything over 130 might be uncut?

When the man on the boat is sliced in half, the gory sound effect has been dipped in volume to remove the initial slicing sound as the wire makes contact with this midriff

I'd have to get my f$&king optical lead back off my friend so I can play DHWV in dts.

Yeah might only be few seconds that might not go over 130 minutes. Predator had the same butcher treatment for region 2 DVD yet the early VHS copies where the same as the UK BBFC cut. Then Fox has the gore to re-release it a year later and its restored back to the original UK cut WTF! Money! Money! Sheer f$%^king greedy pigs!

They pulled the same fast one with Commando around the same time but I don’t think its been re-released for region 2 DVD except for the region B when it comes out.

I think I remember reading about that Predator mis-hap. Didnt they then re-re-release it again with the proper uncut print?

That happened with the original Aussie dvd too, then it came out uncut on the SE.

Personally I think it was the same just some piss poor silly editing to piss the fans off right off! I’d have to re-view the two versions again and look for any tail, tail signs.

Its just a money grabbing scam.

You might have not noticed the missing audio commentary on the BluThing. Yeah was watching it and thought for second something is missing? The sound is bit mute for while as I had to switch leads around on the AVR to pc and then switched AVR from video 2 for the region 2 DVD to DVD/6channel for the Bluray region B.

Probably Keith David or one of his agents heard this on the commentary and demanded it to be removed or face legal action. I know that studios put those notices up on the screen where "Views expressed are not necessarily shared by the studio, etc. etc".
