Sticky Spine Tape - Blu-ray Forum

Not sure what section this would go in but does any one know why spines come out with that sticky tape or plastic on it when taking the plastic off when you first buy a movie. Also any way to stop this from happening it hasn't done it a lot on my blu's but a few have been hit by it. Not sure if anyone even knows what I'm talking about.

I know what your talking about. I hate that spine tape.

I really have no idea why its there either.

Yeah some of my movies that get it look okay but other just look like shit with that spine tape.

Yeah I've had a few and it's annoying. Have you tried rubbing alcohol on it?

In all honesty, that hasn't happened to me yet with a blu-ray, happened a lot with DVDs, I just washed that off.
