Eric Valette's Une affaire d'etat a.k.a State Affairs (2009) has received a preliminary release date for the Gallic markets: April 7th.

Quote:

A plane loaded with weapons explodes above the Gulf of Guinea. An escort girl is murdered in a Parisian car park. Thousands of miles may separate these two events but could they be in some way connected? Nora Chayd, a police inspector with a reputation for strong arm tactics, is charged with investigating the Paris murder but she soon comes into conflict with her superiors. Meanwhile, Victor Bornand, a government offial, is busy trying to dampen the political crisis caused by the explosion. Do you know if this will be English friendly? (still not good enough at Français to watch a film without subtitles

).
