Default Conan O'Brien Gets 'Justice' on NBC

Interesting turn of events, I didn't know he was even looking into doing anything like this.

Quote:
there may be a legal drama in the future for conan o'brien and nbc after all.

The funnyman's former network has picked up the pilot of a one-hour show called justice from from o'brien's production company, conaco, according to the hollywood reporter.

Aside from being prohibited to come within 500 yards of 11:30 and the embargo on badmouthing nbc, another clause in o'brien's $45 million exit deal you may not have known about was that his production shingle would stay with nbc universal until the end of development season (when networks pick up shows for the coming fall).

O'brien signed off friday after less than eight months hosting the tonight show, paving the way for jay leno to reclaim the job on march 1.

So from the people who brought you triumph the insult comic dog and the walker, texas ranger lever, here's justice. (we're thinking tilda swinton for lead counsel.)

(Um, I seem to recall Conan hated the Triumph sketches the first time it was aired?...)

Triumph is ri-tarded, but I don't recall anything to that effect from Conan.

I remember the original episode (Siskel & Ebert were the guests, leading to one of the other famous Conan moments, as TV Guide memorialized):
The Westminister Dog Show was in town, so throughout the evening, Conan went to Robert Smigel handpuppet segments to show "the winners of the Talent competition", who, of course, all did 60's Ed Sullivan acts:

Conan: (after return to desk from the dog who did 60's Don Rickles jokes) "Yyyeah...THAT sketch went on a little longer than we wanted it to, didn't it? "

No, he says "what the hell was that?! We saw a little more of that dog than we wanted to see", referring to Robert Smigel's big noggin poking up into the frame when things started to fall apart on the little puppet stage. Conan was loving it.

At one point or another Conan proclaimed every skit on his show as "stupid" while laughing hysterically.
