I can't believe they only released this on dvd and no blu. Why do they give it the shaft along with The Tudors, another show I refuse to buy until they bring American blu-ray releases.

I'm glad we atleast get Weeds, Dexter, and Nurse Jackie soon.

I'm betting since Spielberg produce this show, he's going to prepare a big special edition next year, with 5 commentaries for each epidsode, 10 hours of HD special features and the option to watch it in black and white, with 7.1 384Khz DTS HD master audio, and the possible Laserdisc version of the film. Maybe the missing unaired epidsode that has no relevance to the show be directed by James Cameron that's in 3D!

There have been some comments from studios that were concerned that BD would not sell for some shows, and that some shows, where some seasons were released in BD, may now have other seasons released in DVD. Some studios have mentioned that they are reconsidering their price structure. Most people will not pay $55 for a BD season-and judging by the way BD seasons at the $15 (Weeds) and $25 (on sale, and seems to be popular point, generally), have been flying off the shelves, this lack of sales could easily be remedied with lowering prices. IMO, if they want to push adoption, it's the only way. I was very mad when I found out Damages Season 2 was not going to see a BD release (the only site that has a "sign up to be notified) is Amazon UK, and that doesn't mean it's coming. Very frustrating for those wanting to complete (or start) collections of their favorite shows.

This show should definitely be on BD. Showtime has plenty of their other shows on it. I'm not buying it on DVD.
