Angry Denon 1910 iPod?

Hey Everyone,

I have two Denon 1910's in my house. One for the living room and one for my bedroom. It would be nice to use my iPod Touch 2nd Generation to watch videos and listen to music through the systems. However, the Denon Dock that you get separately wouldn't work with my iPod. Everyone online is saying that it won't work with my specific iPod because Denon doesn't keep up with Apple.

Is there any way I could at least listen to my ipod through the receiver? In one of the rooms I have a Momitsu BDP-899 and it has a USB slot, so I hooked it up to that, but the iPod only charges and doesn't play. It plays through my iPod speakers instead. Am I doing something wrong?
Also, is there a way I could Bluetooth my iPod touch to the receiver?
Please tell me all the possible ways that will work with my iPod Touch 2nd Generation and my Denon 1910 receivers that will at least hold the quality.

Also, is there a way I could maybe hook my computer up to it for music?

I have some audio wires and stuff, but they don't fit into the holes on the receiver..
This is really frustrating me, someone please help!

You could always use a 3.5mm to RCA cable from the headphone jack to an input on your Denon.

I just ordered one of these.. http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2 . Should plug into an audio input on the back (either any lableled "CD, DVD, SAT/CBL/VCR(ipod)/DVR"), and I think you can assign them different labels in the receiver for ipod use.

Both above posts are the same cable. The dock will give you better sound quality.

I want to use the dock, but I can't.
I hear Denon's iPod dock doesn't work with the newest iPod Touch software. I don't feel like spending the $69.99 for something that won't even work for my iPod.
I have an iPod Touch 2nd Generation with the most current firmware. I just want whatever sounds best, isn't a ridiculous amount of money, and will actually work with my iPod.

For my car I bought a NewerTech 3-1 audio/sync cable. It will convert the dock input to a mini plug. I then convert the mini plug to RCA (with a cable) and feed that into my stereo. Works really well in my car and will allow you to use a dock and feed it into your 1910. It's not ideal and won't do video but will get you half way there.

I use the Denon ASD-3N in my signature. Not only is it an iPod dock but also allows me to stream internet radio, podcasts and music/pictures from my computer.

EDIT: Here's the compatibility list.
