Default How can I tell if my new laptop video card is any good?

Looking at buying a 2-year old game for my new laptop (Halo 2).

My video card is a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4570.

Halo 2 requires "DirectX 9.0-compatible NVIDIA 6000 or ATI x700 video card".

I have no idea if my card is comparable, worse, better, etc.

How does one find this stuff out?

So complicated...

its plenty enough. if u want best visuals you could open up catalyst and play around with your settings and play around with ingame settings to maximize frames per second. although a card like that should be able to run the game at max settings at a decent frame rate. i tend to sacrifice details for higher frame rates.

Thanks. I just have no idea what all that means. I wouldn't know if my card is the equivalent/worse/better than the one listed on the system requirements, since it only lists two, and I have no idea how they rank.

Thats a pretty decent card for a lappy, you should not have many issues running any current games, older ones should be no problem.
