The third film is on Blu, so maybe parts 1 and 2 will be released around this Christmas.

This is a film I am eagerly anticipating as well. The Santa Clause is a classic film that no Christmas season is complete without. Unfortunately the two sequels are straight up terrible, but at least we have the first one. I'm hoping The Santa Clause gets a Blu-ray release in the fourth quarter of this year.

the first film is a modern-day classic. the second was passable, but the third seemed like a giant excuse for Martin Short to steal every scene he was in. It felt like "The Jack Frost Show", even before the whole "time reversal" thing happened.

Saw it. Didn't like it. Never seen its sequels. Not planning on it. There are much better holiday gems out there. This isn't it.

I'll have to disagree with ya there. I thought both sequels were good. Not equivalent to the first, but still entertaining and fun. Hopefully, this is the year.

I've been waiting for the first one on blu-ray since the beginning. I've put off buying the DVD for a long time. Saw this at the theater and it's been one of my favorite Christmas movies since. I believe that this one will stand the test of time as a holiday classic.

Any other studio probably would have released this by now. Stupid Disney and their hatred of their own live-action catalog titles.
