BD player audio bit rate meter?

Most BD players seem to display only the selected audio codec, possibly the sampling rate. Which BD players also present on screen audio bit rate meters?

The 2009 model Panasonic BD80 does. Presumably, that continues w/ some of the 2010 models. But the BD80 audio bit rate meter resolution is limited to 0.1 Mbps.

Various Pioneer models (05FD/09FD/23FD/51FD/320) do. And their audio bit rate meter resolution extends to 0.01 Mbps.

Are there others BD players that display audio bit rates? Suggestions? I am just curious, as I like to check the bit rates of various lossy tracks on BD & DVD.

PS3 does.

The PS3 displays video (or combined audio/video) bit rate and audio sampling rate. But I do not recall that it shows separate audio bit rate.

It's combined audio and video. You can check on each audio track to see what the audio bitrate is being put out. So like if you're on a Dolby TrueHD track you can switch to like Dolby Digital track and see tha audio bitrate for that track.

Yes, you are correct. The PS3 presents two bit rate meters. I could not remember until now where to find this PS3 info screen image:



When the audio bit rate drops below 1 Mbps (e.g. Dolby Digital @640 kbps), does the PS3 meter maintain 0.1 Mbps resolution? Or does it switch to kbps?
