Default Just a little more proof Blu-ray is the champ - eBay!

Im a ebay freak and keep on eye on things alot there. I always check for deals on blu-ray movies and I also look to see how many titles are for sale at a give time compared to how many hd dvd titles and there are always more blu ray movies for sale

Today
HD-DVD (1053)
Blu-ray (1632)

Just shows that blu ray is showing more interest in the ebay area. Also my local walmart has 4x as many blu ray movies than hd dvd on the shelves.

Good stuff, but the HD DVD defense group will just say. "people are wanting to get rid of blu ray, HD DVD FTW!!!"

Yea everywhere you look and every statistic that pops up just shows Blu-ray's dominace in the market. Here's to hoping 2008 gets us done talking about competing with HDUD and onto competing with DVD sales.

axelmusic is a retailer and lists their sales which is a small margin of sales in DK.

So nothing special here

The amusing point about Axelmusic isn't that they have huge volume or anything; it's because they have a large selection and because they were one of the last retailers anywhere in the world to show a sales advantage for HD DVD over Blu-ray.

Of course, once the PS3 launched in Europe, that went away pretty fast too, which is why you never hear HD DVD supporters talk about Axelmusic anymore. It got brought up a LOT in discussions earlier this year though.

Maybe it's not that they want to get rid of Blu-ray, maybe it's PS3 buyers selling them to buy games? When I got my PS3 and the 5 free titles arrived I thought about putting them on eBay but later decided to keep them and might buy a few more titles soon.

If there are more Blu Rays Out there, (WHICH THERE ARE) It's pretty reasonable for people trying to get rid of their current blu rays in replacement of others. (When the Selection is Huge you're willing to part with it, when the selction is small you're pretty hesitant to move away from what you have)

I should know, I own both Formats, and Clearly the HD DVD's are lacking serverly in selections. Any movie I buy on HD DVD, I'm keeping. You know why? Because HD DVD's DO NOT have crazy Weeks like (October 31st 07, November 7 07) or First Week of December. I'm basically wating for an entire month for something to come out like Hero's. Since getting Blu Ray, it's been non stop with the titles. In fact people have to ask SHould I get this or get that. On my HD DVD's I really don't have to ask anything, I mean what's to ask? There is nothing else to settle for.
