Default Zack and Miri loading problem

recently bought Zack and Miri Make A Porno and for whatever reason, it won't play in ps3 it's the only disc i have that won't play. i don't understand why.

it boots up but then just stays on the loading page. the 'loading bar' moves, and fills up, and then just starts all over again.

any one else have issues with this film? is it the BD itself? everything i've put in after that has played just fine.

and i love Zack and Miri. really wanted to watch it tonight

I don't know/think if there's a correlation, but I'm going to throw this in here too. My Disc 3 of How I Met Your Mother suddenly won't play in my PS3. And I I saw on the playstation forums someone else had this problem. Worked before. Now it doesn't.

And I put it in a different BD player - worked fine. But won't play in my PS3. I don't have Zack and Miri otherwise I would try that too. All my blu-ray discs play fine except my HIMYM Disc 3.

Have you tried disabling your Internet connection?

There was a similar problem with Pineapple Express and if you disabled your Internet connection that fixed the problem. Some kind of BD-Live glitch.

That worked thanks. I had a feeling it had to do with BD Live or something along those lines. Just didn't know what to do

Awesome! Thanks everyone. I didn't disable my whole connection, just BD-Live. **** that shit anyways I never use it.

I changed CONFIRM BD-LIVE connections instead of ALLOW BD-LIVE connection in the BD configuration menu and just denied Zack and Miri upon load.

Default loading problem

Zack and Miri Make A Porno will not load in a ps3, unless you disable your network settings in the menu options on the ps3. That is what worked for me, good luck.

USA Zack and Miri won't play in a PS3

I thought it was my PS3, I actually received a 2nd Blue Ray disc and it does the exact same thing. Just stays on the loading screen, no other BD does that.

DISABLING THE INTERNET CONNECTION WORKED FLAWLESSLY

My Zack and Miri disc used to work, now it doesn't. I haven't tried a the disconnect idea yet.

It's a BD-Live issue. Like others in this thread have said, just disable BD-Live or disconnect.

Can I just come out and say that BD-Live is borderline useless? The most interesting feature seems to be the ability for "live" director commentaries, but both times that has occurred the results were terrible. For the most part it is just little SD clips that weren't important enough to make the release. And now it is adding a step of confusion and an unneeded trip to settings to watching the actual movie. Nice.

Have you inserted it properly into the Brown-ray player?

Nope. Not really. Back in 1997 every disc with a new technology wouldn't work in older players. Goldeneye, Austin Powers, The Abyss, a few others too. Just wouldn't work in older players. And when RSDL became common? Forget about it on older players.

At least now you can upgrade firmware, back then you just... didn't watch that movie

I never had one issue with my older DVD player... My first DVD player was one of the original players to ever hit the market. I had it preordered months before DVD released. In fact, the player is still in use to this day at a friend's house.
