Default Looks like Blu-ray can win yet another week in the Nielsen numbers...

DVDEmpires number for the week of August 28 are up. It's the week with two exlusive day-and-dates releases (Heroes and BoG) for HD-DVD and three more exclusive cataloge titles for HD-DVD (Dawn of the Dead, The Hurricane and Notting Hill) compared to Blu-rays ZERO releases...

This did not help HD-DVD. It got still outsold on DVDEmpire that usally is a little bit slated towards HD-DVD. The site is very small and far from the whole market but it's interesting to see how the Nielsen numbers compares to the numbers from DVDEmpire. Here is the graphs for the DVDEmpire numbers:

Source: http://www.dvdempire.com/Content/Fea...99365930685895

The first graph show that DVDEmpire and Nielsen usually are pretty close. If wrong, most times DVDEmpire have overestimated the HD-DVD numbers...
