This is really good news because, being a Vietnam veteran, I think this is the best Vietnam war movie ever made. Thanks for posting this and I'm glad I own a region free BD player.

That'll be a popular title. Fox handled the excellent Definitive releases (that artwork is pretty close to the USA Steelbook one) so we should get a shed load of extras or at least a DVD duplicate.

They have to be ****ing joking with that price tag. This'll be £9.99 before before you know it.

Nothing listed at the BVA yet which is odd http://www.bva.org.uk/node/484545 This was originally announced 4 years' ago come January 2011.

Being Fox, I don't think they are. Sadly.

Me too - I love the characters. Try 84 Charlie Mopic, which you can get on DVD from Amazon.uk

Great news - and although I'd rather it were released sooner - its good on my bank balance that my 2011 wanted list is staggered reasonably to a managable schedule. (Until studios annouce more that is!)

I think we should be hoping for reference quality! And a whole heap of extras! I really hope they don't mess up this release!

I'm definitely ordering it, probably from HMV. I'm also tempted to order Thin Red Line and Tigerland too, but I've never seen them.

Ordered mine from Amazon as it was cheaper and not in any hurry for it. Would normally order from HMV.

Next week is quite an expensive week for BDs. My bank account is gonna take a bit of a battering. What with Platoon, The Thin Red Line, Black Swan, Tigerland and The Next Three Days all out Monday. And then there's L.A. Noire too later in the week.

All from Zavvi using various discount codes.

'The Thin Red Line' is pure quality. A blind buy you will not regret.
