Default Which 6/27 BDs do you plan on buying?

Please vote and then let us know if there are others you'll plan on renting instead of purchasing. As for me, I'll be buying 2 and renting all of the others.

I would tend to rent Lord of War, and maybe buy it if I like it.

That said I think the catalogue title prices are ok but the 'new release' Lions Gate prices are a bit high really...

I thought it was very good but not the type of film I feel the need to own. I particularily loved Cage's opening lines. You'll know when you see it. Definitely rent the movie if nothing else.

None. Saw is the theatrical version, so screw that. Same goes for Punisher (especially since there is supposed to be a DC in the works). As for Ultraviolet, when they release the 2 hour version, then I'll buy it.

I see you're well versed in Sony's stradegy of releasing theatrical version and then extended cut a few months later. I'm not playing the double dip game again either. I got far too many movies on DVD twice.

Yep. Underworld and The Grudge were the last movies I let them do that to me. I got smart when Sin City, Hellboy, and a few others came out. Resident Evil Apocalypse is the only movie that I bought right away and there does not seem to be any plans for EE.
