Default "Blu-ray Disc Interactivity and You"

Mostly is it about future players & what they will do.

I have no idea why the BDA and CE are not supporting this as quickly as they can. I know a lot of early adopters out there say they don't care about extras but from a consumer point of view, HD DVD would technically give them more from an interactive point of view and that may be what they like. I just find it frustrating that the companies will be releasing all of these players before Christmas and before the October profile deadline without Profile 1.1 compliancy. It just seems like they are trying to make a quick buck without the consumer in mind. That is the only downside, in my mind to choosing the Blu-ray format as my format of choice.

I agree Lokus...does anyone know why they aren't supporting the crap out of the interactivity? Maybe they are and I just don't know.

I think it has to do with trying to actually make a profit on the equip they sell.
