Default Rarest/Most Expensive Blu-ray that you own/purchased

Hey peeps,
I was going through my collection and came upon a few blu-rays in my collection that got me thinking about how much I had spent on them lol. I always love to see what you all have in your collection. Especially rare, more expensive blu-rays. So I wanted to ask you all which blu-rays did you pay the most for, and if so, was it for a rare blu-ray or just an expensive one lol

I'll start off with a few of mine:
Rare:
This, personally, has to be one of the few blu-rays I don't see in many peoples collections:
Perfect Blue Collectors Edition

I've seen them go between $130-$200 :/ lol Someone has one listed for $325
The Third Man
The Man who fell to earth

Expensive:
Mostly all my imports were really expensive :/
Invisible Target: $60
Lust, Caution: $45
My Blueberry Nights: $55
Seven Swords: $50
The Empress & the Warriors: $55
Three Kingdoms: $45
Hidden (Cache): $40
Perfect Blue: $90

I'll see what else I find lol
Would love to see what you all have

Oh man. Most of my steelbooks were pretty damn expensive but some cost way more than others. I think my most expensive blu-ray is the Fast & The Furious 4-disc steelbook set ($60). Here's the rest:

Tron/Tron Legacy embossed steelbook ($56)
Total Recall steelbook (Unrated from Netherlands)
Avatar Korean Imported steelbook ($46)
Public Enemies FS steelbook ($49)
300 steelbook ($44)
The Dark Knight FS steelbook ($44)
Saving Private Ryan steelbook ($42)
Shoot'Em Up steelbook ($40)
Gamer steelbook ($40)
Transformers 2 steelbook ($40)

There's more but I don't remember everything.

I have "The Egyptian" pre-ordered.. at 44 bucks (Includes shipping). The release is limited to 3,000 copies. I would call that rare. It should ship in a week or two.

I had an Iron Man steelbook, but I sold it for $250 a while back.
I still have 2 sealed copies of Third Man and Man Who Fell To Earth and a few other goodies that are still percolating.

my most expensive is the LOTR. Here's a pic of the collection, right next to my DVD extended releases. These are my precious, my friend asked to borrow either, i said no way these leave the house, ever.

I plan on getting BBC Natural History Collection 1 and 2 in the future

Most expensive purchase would be "Battlestar Galactica" Complete Series for something like $208. And it's worth it!

Most expensive single movie would be my "Inception" briefcase edition from WBshop, for $45.

Not sure what the rarest Blu-Ray I own would be; I'm guessing "Yukikaze" (which was also rather expensive; $145).

Yep, The Egyptian. I won't spend over £10 on a BD & am quite happy to wait 'till it comes down to that, but you have to make exceptions from time to time.

I have this signed too. Actually it might be my rarest BD because of the autograph.

My most expensive BD releases are my Japanese imports of Equilibrium ($58), The Crow ($58), and George A. Romero's Night of The Living Dead ($40).

My rarest blus are Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut, Iron Man 2 lenticular metal case (Target exclusive), Star Trek - Enterprise case (Target exclusive), Battle Royale: Limited Edition, Blade Runner: Limited Edition (attache case), The Descent (original AVC encoded pressing), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (original "foil" cover), and The Bird With The Crystal Plumage (Blue Underground release).

Technically, my 3D blus of Avatar, How To Train Your Dragon, and Monsters vs. Aliens are both rare and expensive......but they shouldn't be.

I also don't consider my Battlestar Galactica, or Rome Complete Series sets to be expensive, considering what you get for the price (however, my BSG is the limited edition set, and I didn't deface my season 1 box to get the new cases).

Most expensive:
1. Battlestar Galactica (yes, it may be cheap considering the amount of discs but overall it's still a very expensive boxset)
2. Biohazard Trilogy - Japan Import
3. The Sound of Music: Limited Edition Collector's Set
Rare:
1. Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut Limited Edition
2. Battle Royale: Limited Edition

Considering I'm living in a third world country and have to import nearly all my blu-rays, they're mostly expensive and rare to me..

Single most expensive and rarest BD would be the same for me - first press Akira with slipbox and booklet. Ran me the MSRP of $50. Runner up would be my Japanese import of Night of the Living Dead at $43. Technically Alien Anthology cost me $70 bucks, but that's 4 movies and not hard to find, so I'm not counting that.
