I saw this on the lists shortly after it came out but was disappointed at the lack of English subtitles. I can only imagine how long it'll be before this (or most Russian films for that matter) gets a BD release elsewhere.

Has there been any word on a English friendly release? (subs or dubs)

If not, is their anyone in Russia that could coordinate a group by for this title?

Most of Close-Up blu-rays is not english-friendly. I know one exception - 'Vanished Empire'. But as many other releases 'Moscow Does Not Believe In Tears' bluray has no subs and only russian audio tracks.
I suppose russian distributors don't much care about international market. In fact, they don't much care about local market.

You can order it here, but I would be very careful. For whatever reason, the last time I ordered from Kniga on 28 April 2013, there was some kind of issue and they never sent me the BD. I did get a request in broken English: "We need ur 2nd name for we send you ur order", but when I re-sent my full name in a response, nothing happened...very bizarre.

EDIT: I just received this order yesterday (5 August 2013).
