Default Dual DVI to HDMI adaptor?

Anyone know if there is such thing as a Dual DVI to HDMI adaptor? Where can I get one?

Essenitally, I need to keep my ATSC tuner plugged in the only DVI port on the TV. But I want to upsample DVD on my player which can only be done through HDMI.

Need a way to:
* Plug adaptor into the TV DVI port
* One port accepts the tuner DVI cable
* A cable runs to the BD player.

Long shot, I know... but worth looking.

Sounds like you need a 2 to 1 DVI switch, plus an HDMI o DVI adapter.

Tron, before you do anything, make sure you can pass HDCP through that DVI connection. Many won't and you'll be stuck with a switcher.

How do I know that for sure?

Besides, I am holding out in the hope that Sony will give me a firmware upgrade for such a thing. I don't want to further complicate my setup with a switch where I have to push a button. Let alone the insane expense for such a simple thing.

I'll wait for the firmware update, or get a new tv.

There are autosensing switches which will route to the active input. I think Gefen makes one.

There is not much of an expense. I got a 2 in 1 Monoprice HDMI switch from Ebay a couple of months ago for 10 bucks. You could get a DVI to HDMI cable from there or directly from Monoprice for a low price as well. I like my switch.

For my ~4 year-old Sony, I simply called support and asked them if the TV was HDCP compliant before I purchased the HDMI cable+HDMI/DVI adapter. They said it was and told no lies.
