Germany Halloween III, 4, 5, 6 by NSM Records

All titles come as limited collector's edition, in mediabook with DVD copy and CD soundtrack. There is also choice for two covers, one with German text and the other with English.

Specs say uncut.

OSCommerce has them and their specs indicate all three commentary tracks for part 4, and DTS HD-MA 2.0 and 5.1 English tracks for 4 and 5. Part 6 actually has extras, and seems to use the Studio Canal master as it's in 1.85:1 like the French and Spanish disks.

Good news for German speaking folks as the Halloween 3 disk seems to be a port of the Shout Factory disk.

EDIT: Ordered 4, 5, and 6 (as well as TCSM 2). I don't expect 6 to look any better than the French disk, but I'm praying 4 and 5 blow Anchor Bay's disks away.

NSM normally brings uncut Versions of movies.

AFAIK some ofd the movies are indicated in Germany, so you won't find them on amazon.de

Looks like they ship worldwide...had to use google translate a lot, on their shipping page it had a section for worldwide deliveries.

The specs on D and T Mailorder (which my bookmark calls OSCommerce) mention they are uncut.

Halloween III is at the end of page one and the beginning of page 2, IV, V, and VI are on page 2.

I'll probably order Halloween III as I have never owned that movie and actually kinda like it. 30€ is quite a bit of dough but oh well.

Helps to click the links, I guess. :P Wonder why it lists an 85 minute runtime and an uncut 89 minute runtime.

Both runtimes are "uncut" runtimes. The "uncut" just states that it is an uncut Version.
The different runtimes are for DVD and BD. The shorter is the PAL speeded DVD runtime, the longher is the BD runtime (without PAL speedup, bcause not as 25i)

Bummer. I was getting my hopes up that it was the Producer's Cut or Director's Cut seeing a Blu Ray release.

I don't think this will ever happen. Uncut just reffers to the censorship status compared between normal theatrical release and local german versions. If a german version of a movie states "uncut" or "uncensored" it is seldom that it is longer than a normal US release.

Are there any folks here that can read and write in German, because I'd be interested to know if the blu-rays are new transfers or ported from somewhere else. NSM records posts on D and T Mailorder's forum in the Halloween 4-6 blu-rays thread.

Is there any way you or someone else could post and ask them? The audio tracks are definitely not ports so it seems like it would be new all around, but you never know.

My order of 4, 5, and 6 shipped today (as well as TCSM II, Ring 0 and Ring Spiral). I hope folks that receive the NSM version of Halloween III can give a report and/or screenshots in how the video (and audio) quality differs from the Scream Factory disk .
