Today Samsung posted new update fixes some sound and playing issues.

Has Anyone Tried The USA & Canada Samsung BDP1400 Firmware In The UK Samsung BDP1400 And If So Does This Make The UK Samsung BDP1400 Region A As It Did With The Samsung BDP1000 Sorry If This Is A Stupid Question. But Just Checking To See.

That is a very good question and not in the least stupid - not at all. I am eager to learn about this, too, because this would be the easiest way to get a Code A-enabled player here in Germany.

Could someone p l e a s e try this out ...? I'd really like to buy the 1400 rather sooner than later.

Will this new firmware work for model in Canada? It's not on the Canadian website. Thanks.
