I reckon the website will relaunch in time for this one
When I was picking up my Die Hards they said they were ironing out the bugs and the website would be back very soon.
I doubt they would give HMV the exclusive to such a massive film with no website especially as Paramount have given 3 exclusives to ES who could offer online sales for this title as well.

The site is technically back, and has been for a while.
You just can't order anything through it. It's more like a newsletter now, as to what is available in-store.

As for the whole 3D thing, I saw "...Into Darkness" in both 3D and 2D, and I prefered the 2D viewing.

If this steelbook has a 3D disc in it, then so be it, as long as there is a 2D option available too, then it's fine.

Some people simply don't like 3D. I'm one of them. And I've done the whole arguing thing about it before, and to be honest, I don't feel like doing it again.

So, whatever. If it's there, then it's no big deal.

As Monkeyspoon says I refuse to encourage retailers to continue to release 2D steelbooks where there is a 3D available, so if no 3D will be a pass for me too.

If the artwork's nice enough I'll bite. If not, 3D version for me.

I would have agreed with you before I got my new TV.

I didnt like Hobbit 3D - preferred the 2D.

But Dredd and Avatar are better in 3D for me.

This I'm willing to double dip if the steel doesn't have 3D. If I didn't get that Play.com Exclusive steel all those years ago then I wouldn't be bothered, but I can't not get a steel for this now

So glad HMV are getting this, no mother fcuking scalpers eating up 20 copies for themselves.

Are you 3d haters gonna keep on with this? Its been 4 years now since 3d returned to the marketplace? Still no sign of it vanishing. Think you have to admit that its here to stay.
