anyone knows why Rotten Tomatoes supports HD DVD only? i always thought that site is evil and never think it would this RED Evil!

I use Rotten Tomatoes only to see reviews of theatrical releases. I don't use them for games or DVD/HD-DVD/Blu-ray reviews or any such information. This was their core business (movie review) and should have just stayed with what they were good at. That's what happens when you sell out...IGN anybody?

its a review site , they review movies if they like HD DVD its there choice , i don't get how they are selling out?

sorry if im misreading your post Zaphod, are they giving HD DVD great reviews over blu rays or something like that?

Not selling out to HD-DVD, but when Rotten Tomatoes first came out in 1998-1999 they were strictly movie reviews for theatrical releases. This is back when I felt the website was a great wealth of information for movie reviews. Then they got popular and the owners sold out to IGN and then everything changed. They started rating games, etc. They went away from their core business and thus I think the website has since really taken on too much and thus has neglected their core that made them popular in the first place.

I understand how you feel then Zaphod i have'nt been to there site in a while but if they are doing games , movies ,etc they most likely are biting off more then they can chew or shall i say review

I'm confused. Looking around for a bit, I couldn't even find HD-DVDs or Blu-Rays.

What I found instead was RT's reviews of players, and the Blu-Ray players they had averaged a better rating than the HD-DVD players they had.

What should I be looking at in order to be outraged?
