I highly doubt it but who knows, maybe MGM/Fox did a new master for the German release

No chance, it does have a nice reversible sleeve though with the original VHS art

Really? I've wondered why they stopped using the original font/aesthetic, because its as striking as any other movie poster imo. I think it's because it's too scary, lol.

According to the listing on Amazon.de it has the double sided cover! already have the UK edition and I'm quite tempted to get this one for the black cover...madness!

It will be identical to all the EU/Asia discs that came out in 2013.
