Cause' you can still buy the Blu titles I spose ( i.e old stock) and they want to milk it while they can ... it's gonna be a dry spell for them for a while

Funny thing, I was on wal-mart.com and noticed you can order the MI trilogy. It has said out of stock for the last couple months, now all of the sudden it is back in stock?

I have had the same experience here - can only presume nasty Paramount are still delivering from stock. Just no 'new' titles. Could be a reason why they might show only a small fall off in No's

Wouldn't it be something if the bribe (oh, I'm sorry, promotional consideration) wasn't for 18 months exclusivity but for some lesser time - like through the first quarter of calendar year 2008 with an option for extension?

too much work to redo it only to have to redo it again in a few months when the HD DUD contract expires and they support blu-ray again. This exclusive thing is a joke, blu-ray is still winning weeks 71:29 it didn't do jack sh1t, same with the firesale.

I agree, if one looks at the overall numbers the Paramount deal hasn't changed much

Well, it did do something. If they were still on Blu-Ray this weeks numbers would have been around 85:15 minimum. HD DVD knows it, that the reason for the pay-off. The offices at their headquarters must be hell to work in. Knowing the only reason your still around is because of bribes and give aways. I mean it's only natural to have pride in your work, but how much pride can you have working for HD DVD?

I'm not sure that this really means anything. Web catalogs, websites, etc. are very good at times in announcing new stuff and adding new material, but they are often as slow as hell in taking old stuff down and announcing "discontinued" or "not available".

Just wait it out. No point in trying to read the tea leaves and coffee grounds in every website or vague public statement.

I thought it was hilarious that when you click the Blu Ray logo in the corner next to hd dvd it brings you to this site. Ironic indeed.

Well they figured it would just be easier to leave the blu logo up since they know they are counting the days till they can release blu titles again.

Judging by the release dates, that page looks a lil out of date anyways. Maybe they made it and forgot it was open
