Japan Mad Max Trilogy Steelbook

I didn't see a thread for this so thought i would start one.

I picked this up at an HMV, cost roughly the same as the regular (dont know if its a steel book or not) trilogy release in the states and on Amazon.com

Only difference it seems, is with the audio for the first mad max. For some reason the Jp steelbook only has master audio 2.0. The other films are 5.1 MA. The original Australian english track is 5.1 dolby digital.... not happy about that. its weird they would do that but ho-hum. I may get the US release and swap out the discs

You should be able to find it on Amazon.jp

Same cover

It's Warner Bros so the discs should be Region Free.

Yea, i noticed no region code on the back so im assuming it will be region free. If not, then region A since that's what japan falls under.

Like i said, havent opened it so not sure if menus and stuff will be English or Jp.

Hard to disagree with OP. A trilogy steelbook would've been much more convenient to handle
