i dunno when they added it but i can now listen to music on my PS3 while browsing the internet, just hope 2.01 adds a bit more than just enhanced system stability

PS, if u love to listen to good music regardless of genre, chek out Halili by cheb mami & elissa, it's awesome song, i don't understand the words but the tune & the way it flows is gr8, u'll b hummin the tune, YouTube is a good place to seach

You could always do that via the PS button..in fact you can "mashup" sound from interent radio and you r music .. both streams play simultaneously..

You can also start a photo slideshow then use the PS button to go to music and play music while the slideshow runs!

I really think Sony should make these little features more obvious to users, how many owners out there don't know about these little extras?

What I'm looking for is to be able to play music while browsing the PSN Store as well...

I just found this out sat, when my friend wanted to go to his band's page. I had to back out of the browser (but not close it) and go turn off the song so we could hear his experimental band.

can it play streaming video yet?

I knew that you could play a photo slide & play music but i'm pretty sure first you couldn't use the internet & play music, they definitely added this later

hi guy! new to the forum. What i want to know is does sony ever have plans on being able to connect an ipod to the ps3?

been there frum the start, just use a USB cable to connect your Ipod, go to Music, options & show all on your connected device, voila, all your Ipod music
