The specs listed on TC Entertainment website are English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1ch, Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 2ch, and Japanese subtitles.

Looks like it'll be around $40 from cdjapan once it's released on September 3rd. The amazon.jp price looks to be a little less.

Tried pre-ordering this from Amazon JP. After adding the shipping costs and
sales tax the amount came to 4,384 Yen. That translates to about $46
Canadian dollars. Yikes!, as much as I love this film, and I really do, this is entering SAE or Criterion pricing. Ufortunately will have to pass for now, my Dvd copy is 16X9 so I will stick with that.

I've checked the cost (shipping to US) and they exclude the tax so:

2,732 + 1,100 = 3,832 JPY --> about 38 USD

It's still a bit too expensive for me though.

One of my favourites in the genre. Was thrilled when I finally saw this one Blu Ray but like you say, it's pricey when converting the Yen to $Cdn plus shipping to Canada. I pre-ordered from Amazon.jp anyway in the hopes the price drops closer to its release date, but if not I may pass and wait for a future North American release. The movie was filmed in Canada by a Canadian director, so we can only hope it will get a release on this side of the pond sooner rather than later......
