Default New This Week: 11/27/2007 Edition

Time for things to cool off but also a chance for folks to look at some unusual titles, classics and foreign alike.

Take a chance, go for Paprika!

The real issue is if anyone will be brave enough to own up to getting the Lindsay Lohan flick.

I voted "Nothing for me". I have bought quite a bit the last couple weeks. But, I may order Close Encounters towards the end of the week.

Gotta support the format I love.

I voted for nothing. I (think) I want Hairspray after reading about what people on blu-ray.com are saying about it. I also want Black Book and problably some others. But I have a stack of movies now still in the wrappers and so I may use this week to catch up a little. So far this has been a terrific 4th quarter for Blu-ray.

This week will set an all time record with responses of "I'm working on past titles" and "Nothing for me this week".

If I end up getting anything I may get Jin Roh. I've always wanted to see a quality Japanimation Blu Ray, and I hope this delivers the goods. Granted it's no Akira, Robotech, or Ninja Scroll, but it's nice seeing they are giving anime fans something to look forward to.

not gonna be picking up any titles. I am too broke. if I had money, I would be catching up on others but I got no cake. Nothing this week is any good. The numbers are going to be awful next week! I mean shit... Mr beans holiday anyone?! that title will definatly skew the numbers to HD DUDs favor. Im thinkin 80:20 Dud just for that one title!

haha who am I kidding. I just needed a good laugh...

Black Book is a terrific film. Make sure that you are relaxed, and have no interruptions. It is long, but well worth it. It has the rare combination of awesome PQ, good acting, nice scenery, great storyline, lots of twists and turns in the plot, and a couple of hot naked girls

I voted that I would work on previous titles, but the problem is that I dont know what I want to buy. I am hoping that I can find another sale or someone has a BOGO sale that would be great for this week. So we will see what happens come the 27th

I'm going to get I Know Who Killed Me just to see Lohan...maybe she can act a bit better when she's high. I guess I can put IKWKM on and compare it with Parent Trap, unless someone knows if she was high when she did that one as well. As far as I know, Parent Trap is about the only one to safely say she wasn't on something.

Nothing for me again... I'm on a moratorium from buying BD's until after X-Mas. But I should be getting quite a few methinks. But it's painful, so many good deals out there, and I need to wait a whole month!

Paprika has been on preorder for a while for me, so definitely will be getting that.

I'll probably rent Jin-Roh at some point since I've never seen it.
