It's too soon to get too excited but if the Archive Collection turns into a 'dumping ground' for stuff WHV doesn't want to release (and refuses to license) this could finally start getting pretty cool.

I occasionally lurk around at Home Theater Forum, and the word around the campfire is that 2015 is going to be pretty busy for Warner Archive.

I'd be quite happy to see some upgrades of my favorite RKO film noirs, because I was so impressed by the Blu-ray presentation of Out of the Past.

This is actually one of my favorite Crawford films of the period, and one I hadn't even thought of as an upgrade possibility, so I'm quite pleased.

YAY! Love this movie. One of Joan Crawford's best performances. She got another Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance. Can't wait for this Blu-ray! Thank you Warner Archive!!!!!

So excited for this! Always looking to welcome more Joan Blu's to my collection and upgrade from my DVD's. We do need to see Mildred Pierce soon, one of my favorite movies of all time! Don't mind if they take there time releasing all of there classic tittles, as long as they are done well!

In some ways, knowing what Warner have unreleased in their vaults, this is little short of bizarre.

However, given the aforementioned rumours of them cranking things up several gears next year, this is extremely promising.

If we're getting this, we might get just about anything.

The more noir on blu-ray, the better. Hopefully Possessed gets the same strong audio/video presentation that Out of the Past received.
