On a side note, the Region B U-571 release is region free, so if you wish to import from jolly old England, it'll work fine.

Are these just HD DVD ports on a BLU disc or are they special encodes, extras, etc?

Well if they're from BVHE in Japan, I'd go for the imports.
Watching the Universal logo on Bruce Almighty in AVC/MPEG-4 clocking 35+ Mbps for bitrate gave me quite a chuckle.

Do you know if this will have a lossless track? This movie deserves a lossless track!

Yeah, it'll have TrueHD and use AVC according to AV Watch: http://www.watch.impress.co.jp/av/do...71126/gaga.htm . Not sure if it'll be encoded for Blu-Ray bandwidth or not, though.

And I see that Sahara is a Paramount title, so that'll be another title available as a BD import.

There is a feeling that U-571 Japan is 1.85 instead of 2:35. Can anyone confirm?
