**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENTS**

Our month-long "Shocktober" celebration continues with two more films to reveal. The 1988 horror comedies VAMPIRE’S KISS (with Nicholas Cage) and HIGH SPIRITS (with Peter O’Toole, Steve Guttenberg and Daryl Hannah) will make their debut on the Blu-ray format next Feb as a double-feature!

Artwork you see here is final. There are no details on extras at this time. Any updates on them will be announced by the end of this year.

We still have more films to announce starting next week and all-month long here on our page so be sure to check back to be the first to see them

Very surprised Vampire's Kiss isn't getting a standalone release, but I'll happily take this

This pairing makes no sense at all. Wish it was two standalones. Also, with Darkman, a Neeson interview on HS is a possibility.

Not a fan of Vampire's Kiss, but High Spirits is some dumb fun. I too wish these had been standalone releases.

Yuck. Still no LADY IN WHITE and a total POS like HIGH SPIRITS goes Blu instead? Even the director hates it!

Loved both movies for a long time! i saw both in theaters and Vampire's Kiss is an underrated vampire movie that is one of Cage's most underrated roles.

I still think High Spirits should had been paired with Little Monsters.

There's only so much of Nicolas Cage's over-acting that I can handle.

Agreed, would've loved a Collector's Edition on this title, but extremely happy to see it arrive on bd.

That rare movie that both succeeds at much of what it was trying to do in terms of entertainment and artistry *and* has accrued a layer of extra entertainment with the passage of time that's not exactly datedness or camp, but has something to do with both.

I am very surprised at that too, I thought it deserved a stand alone release. At least it is coming.

These movies better get a re-release elsewhere. Vampire's Kiss is not to be denied!

Man, what's up with Germany? They get some of the best releases and have tons of catalogue films that haven't been released here.

If there is some random, low key 80s/90s movie that might be OOP in US, you can safely assume that it's just a matter of time before it gets released in Germany, if it hasn't been released there already. The only question is whether it will be region free.

Grindhouse Video in Tampa Fl had 4-5 copies today 2/26/20 in stock and on the shelf. I snagged a copy. The only thing is, the price is 39.99$. I don’t know if they are online, I haven’t checked. For me, it’s worth it, I missed out hoping to catch it cheap then it went OOP, so I gotta pay. And I’d rather pay a cool local business than a flipper on eBay or amazon.

I'm not sure about Vampire's Kiss but I think a lot of these films going OOP will never be released on physical media again...

I feel like Vampire's Kiss is destined for a legit, standalone release. Now that Cage has been getting proper exposure over the past few years, people are realizing that he's always been awesome, and everyone trying to convince us otherwise is a knucklehead.

Cage is going crazy. 4 movies on Blu at Walmart in the new release section that aren’t a franchise getting dropped at the same time. (Primal, color, grand isle, and running w devil) would be nice to have Kill Chain available locally
