I own the nl Blade 1, 2 and 3. I haven't seen the US versions so I have no idea how they compare. The nl discs are BD25's only so there's clearly room for improvement.

Take a look and decide for yourself which is best. The bit rates are much higher on the US releases.

Interesting to note that screenshot 1 of Blade 2 has a unusually highly cropped/zoomed image on the US version.

Worth noting that the nl Blade Trinity is theatrical rather than extended - not an issue for me as I massively prefer the theatrical cut.

Hmmm. My thoughts (for what it's worth). The US versions look pretty good to me. I certainly can't see any particular reason to import (unless you were maybe after a theatrical version of the 3rd film). Despite the lower bit rate and file size, it looks like there is slightly more detail on the nl Blade 2 but it's nothing particularly significant. The only reason I bought the nl blu-rays is because they were available much earlier. Stick with your domestic US versions (which come with extras - the nl discs are bare bones) and save your money.

I'd be happy with the PQ on the US versions. I see no great reason to import Blade 2. Trinity: I guess it depends on which cut you prefer - extended or theatrical.

Edit: Was perusing the forum and just read someone posting that the nl Blade Trinity is out of print anyway:

I guess that a theatrical cut of Blade Trinity on a region friendly disc was much sought after. Makes me wonder if nl Blade 2 is also even currently available?
