Default Picture Glitch/digital Tiling - Anyone else have this Blu-Ray issue? please read

First off my setup....

Samsung 40" LCD LN-S4095D with Samsung Blu-ray BD-P1000.

I'm connected through a Monster Ultra 1000 HDMI Cable.

What happens is while watching a Blu-Ray Movie I experience a digital tiling across random parts of the screen. This is the only way I can explain the visual. For you guys that have digital cable out there Its almost the same effect when you have poor cable signal while watching digital cable. (little compacted digital squares pop up across random areas in on the screen) This only last about a second then go away.

However it occurs throughout the entire movie randomly, even while in the menu of a movie.

This occurs with every movie I have and they are all new Blu-Ray Movies...
Benchwarmers, Lord of War, Underworld, Crash, Punisher, and T2.

Now the strange part this dosn't occur on a Standard DVD.

Could this be a defective player?

Thanks for reading

I've used two different Samsung players on my Samsung LCD and never experienced that. At work, we have the same setup that you do and I've never witnessed that happening. I would take the player back and exchange it ASAP.

Could be that noise reduciton is turned way way up. I would exchange the player though as it sounds defective.
