Even though I hate Walmart, it would be cool if they got the extended steelbook for this film. Shared trilogy run.

I like the artwork so far but why release this exclusively for HMV, the others were a shared release in the UK, I really do not like HMV getting this, they have had some issues with their last steelbooks.

I suspect (read hope!) that this will be like the Transformers 4 and 300: Rise of an Empire where there are both shared releases and exclusives.

It seemed that Warners moved its steelbooks over to HMV in the past few months - they used to be general releases but recent releases such as Godzilla and Edge of Tomorrow have been HMV only. I think 300 was an anomoly but, for the sake of those without a HMV nearby, I hope that there's a second release of this as well.

The artwork can't beat that one though...

Gonna hafta to get me that to complete my theatrical LOTR/Hobbit steelbook line up. Love the art anyway. Damned shame it's not available to buy online though, maybe my mangled leg will have healed by then so I can get out to my nearest HMV (which isn't actually 'near' at all).

Don't know if this is a rarety or factory error but when I picked up my Hobbit Groupbuy steels I noticed there was a sealed copy on the shelf with no 3D sticker present. Pics below with comparison to the other copies..

Anybody else found one of these?

The 3D Sticker is a removable sticker
Its possible that some were not put on a few steelbooks due to be a sticker and the 3D been a sticker not been printed like previous steelbooks
