well I am Blu only... but as I have stated before, I am a fan of movies before a fan of formats. If I have to go neutral, I will. But it will be a last resort since I strongly believe in the Blu-ray format!
No sign of going neutral anytime soon here. (if ever)

Blu-only.

I don't wish to support the other side's attempt to extend this format war nonsense.

Even if/when HD-DVD tanks and Paramount and Universal are forced to start selling titles on Blu, it will be quite a while before I can buy from them without guilt.

Talking 100% Blu!

Batman Begins, The Matrix, and the Bourne movies are the only ones that I would want that are on HD-DVD. It's only a matter of time b4 Batman and the Matrix turn Blu, though.

We know you 100% blu. To be honest I got HD_DVD because at the time blu-ray and PS3 were between 600 and 500-600 for a single blu-ray player, outside of my budget. I was forced to HD-DVD because of money. I just got the S301 a few days ago for 280.00 new and have alot of blu to buy. I bought the A2 at the time for 300 bucks.

I just got Rescue Dawn and my wife Hairspray, i plan on getting CARS, Casino Royale, and much more.

I would not rule out HD-DVD yet, I know thats bad to say it here, but the war is not over.

this whole price range and budget excuse is why a lot of people end up with hddvd. it just sucks for you cuz you dont necessarily get a better buy for your buck. i'm a student, yea i live at home but im not loaded and my parents don't pay for my toys and i knew that getting an hddvd player would only result in 300$ lost on something that i wouldnt even need. IMO, you spend the extra green, make a few sacrifices and this way you have the best possible system.
when you're saying that the players were from 500-600$ what were you refering too? standalones or other? by other i mean the ps3. if you think about it the ps3 is about as smart of a buy as you can think of in this particular "format war", not only is it a high quality blu ray player but its also a next gen gaming system. dont know if you're into games or not but theres a kid in all of us and im sure a ps3 would have served as a fine blu ray player and the occasional game rental if you're ever in the mood!

wtv either way its all good keep on gettin them blus

I am 26 and have a place with my wife, and yep i am sure others were forced to go RED. It happened to me, thankfully i got a new job that pays 14K more a year than my old one, so i have more money now. , so I am now blu and Red at the moment.

Blu only since February 19, 2002.

Quote:
Tokyo Japan, February 19, 2002: Nine leading companies today announced that they have jointly established the basic specifications for a next generation large capacity optical disc video recording format called "Blu–ray Disc".
With the announcement I took it for granted that Blu-ray would be the HD disc format of the future. At that time we were engrossed in ATSC broadcast, DirecTV HD, Dish Network HD and D-VHS D-Theater. I never thought we would be involved in another DA disc format war .
