Code For Wrong Movie - Universal Touch of Evil / Double Indemnity - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, I just experienced something weird... I bought the Universal Blu-Ray for Touch of Evil, and the code slip says Touch of Evil on it, like it should, but the code itself, when I redeemed it on UniversalDigitalCopy.com, actually unlocked Double Indemnity instead. That seems very strange. Anybody else ever seen this before?

Yes. It happened to me also, and I contacted Universal which sent me a replacement code. It was actually pretty easy and painless.

It happened to me too (Double Indemnity code in Touch of Evil). I emailed the customer service last week (filled out the online form), but got no reply. So I emailed Amazon.com and they immediately sent me a replacement, which I didn't want (it's a pain having to send back an item from Ireland). I expect the replacement to have the same problem.

My story is even more bizarre. I just got the "Touch of Evil" blu ray which was just released today (May 26th) and the code slip that is clearly marked as "Touch of Evil" contains a code for "47 Ronin."

Yup, except mine was an older code for iTunes specifically I think. Don't recall what the titles were but the studio sent me a corrected code, so I essentially got a freebie. Millions of these things are printed, packaged and sent out and mistakes do happen. When I originally purchased 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' I got two special features disc and no movie at all. That one went back to Wally-world for an exchange

Sold the code for Touch of Evil to a buyer on here but they told me it redeemed as Double Indemnity. Then I thought the Double Indemnity code would redeem as Touch of Evil but it's properly for Double Indemnity.
EDIT: It's gone all tits-up.
