Excellent news - it's a brilliant film, with a fantastic score.

Worth getting for this piece of music alone IMO. It's one of John Barry's crowning achievements.

Yeah, great John Barry music score, but as I remember, the film just seemed like a lot of shouting at each other.

I do recall reading somewhere that Twilight Time had this lined up as a future release.

I have the German Blu Ray but if the quality has been improved I'll double dip.

I think this was speculation and TT hasn't confirmed it.

It was an MGM DVD on region 1 so it is right up Twilight Zone's street. Especially as they seem to have a bias towards Hopkins movies of late!

Yes, I've seen a press release stating an October 3rd release date and Amazon have updated their listing accordingly. Looks like it's on its way!

PS: it was also announced theatrically, so it must be ready.

To me this is one of the great movies. Don't have a region free player, but the box art is fantastic and I'm tempted to get this one.

Doubt the eventual US of A version will use this same art.
