Default Van Halen - Van-Tastic!

I don't get out much but I did have the opportunity to see Van Halen last night at the Saddledome and they were fantastic.

The band was tight and they played a ton of songs (Pre Sammy days). Was definately worth the price of admission.

I was a Van Halen fan in the 80s. I guess I am out of the loop here as I thought they had broken up for the final time. How many original members are still playing?

Love Van Halen, would love to see them come to my area, around Western New York, especially with David Lee Roth. But so far they haven't, the closest was Toronto, but I was just up there for a Police concert.

Some of us are firmly in the Sammy camp.

I love Van Halen regardless of who is singing but I've always loved DLR era VH the most. And to see them together was childhood dream finally come true =]

Seriously the stuff they did before Sammy just had so much more attitude but I love the hagar stuff too.

Oh and that VH kid can smack the hell out of that bass =] VERY impressed. I guess if your Eddies kid you better be good at whatever instrument your playing or you will get called out =]

They are due here in April for 80.00-150.00 a seat.
There are already pit seats going for 1500.00 but Zepplin had someone pay 170,000 for a front row ticket at auction for their recent concert.
