Since Oblivion was debunked, it may or may not be on the ps3.

WHat game would you like to see as a ps3 launch title that hasnt been announced as a ps3 title as of yet.

the clues from the article was the title is five words, and you wouldnt find it in a breakfast cereal.

Im hoping for a twisted metal sequel. they could subtitle it for the 5 words, and you most definately wont find metal in cereal

How amazing would it be if it was: "MGS4: Guns of the Patriots" and the abbreviation counted as one word.

-- BTW, if anyone saw the article, Kojima said that MGS4 isn't going to come out until LATE 07 which may mean it even gets pushed back to 08. That sucks.. Unless it's a trick and the above mentioned happens.

I dont think MGS4 will be a launch game.

I mean, Hideo Kojima is a perfectionist, he wont release the game untill it is finished and when he is satisfied with it.

I still think it is Oblivion (maybe not the exact same version as on the 360).

Yeah. I wouldn't want it to be released until perfected. I'll wait the year, being satisfied that there still is another MGS game to come out. After it's over, I'm gonna be sad.

Supposedly there were some weird looking things in the new trailer, so they have stuff to work on anyway.

Aside from the lower priced 20Gb PS3 in Japan and the addition of HDMI to that console, there appears to be nothing new from Sony at TGS, just the opportunity for gamers to play games for the first time.

However, have any of you seen the suggestion that retro games will be available to download, mega drive and pc-engine games - clearly Sony's answer to Xbox Live Arcade. Now, if they put an emulator on the PSP to play these games on the move...

Sony aren't thinking about XBox Live Arcade at all, they're thinking about Wii Virtual Console. Nintendo are Sony's competitor in Japan, not Microsoft at all.

360 is doing worse than the original XBox in japan, and the original XBox did terribly. Microsoft are in Japan saying "Here's all the games you hated the first time around, now in HD". Mistwalker are the only 360 japanese guys who seem to be kicking ass.

Sony have had a great TGS so far, the PS3 is looking much more attractive to the Japanese public now. They have to make it more attractive to the rest of the world now.

Good call. It needs to be a big name exclusive that you can't play anywhere else, including the PC, for at least a little while.

I just dont understand why they would wait to tell big ps3 news. It may be a game that may keep people form purchasing a 360 now. why wait? you could potentially be losing sales.

Even if it oblivion. they (sony) should not wait. I have several friends that were seroiusly considering getting the 360 for oblivion. If they found out it was coming out on a system they planned on purchasing anyway, what harm can come from that.

An Oblivion port would be great, but need something else over the top and extra special in additon to that.

While I really want twisted metal game, the developers have already made warhawak. Then Im sure they'll me hard pressed for another god of war after 2 comes out.

Inevitable. That's the exact polar opposite of "secret."

Has there been a console launch for the past decade at least that hasn't had one of those games with it?

Was trying to find info about Oblivion on PS3 and found this thread. Been holding off of a 360 assuming it would be on the better system too. Thought all gamers on here would be interested in this.

Elveon look ed pretty cool. It uses the Unreal Engine 3 which just looks great.

UT2007 and Gears of War also use that Engine.
